GOD CHANGES YOUR NAME TO GLORY...

Genesis 32:22-30

“The same night he arose and took his two wives, his two female servants, and his eleven children, and crossed the ford of the Jabbok.  He took them and sent them across the stream, and everything else that he had.  And Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day.  When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him.  Then he said, “Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”  And he said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.”  Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.” Then Jacob asked him, “Please tell me your name.” But he said, “Why is it that you ask my name?” And there he blessed him.  So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel [means “the face of God”], saying, “For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.”
Don't get disturbed on what names people know right now because God is changing it today if you believe. Your name is changing to glory, victory, the blessed one because He is by your side just like Jacob's name was changed to Israel. Because He saw God in his life its your time to see God and your name will change on the spot, when you meet Jesus those who called you poor they will call you rich, those who called you foolish its time to call you professor. After a meeting with God all things will change

HOW CAN A YOUNG MAN KEEP HIS WAY PURE?

HOW CAN A YOUNG MAN KEEP HIS WAY PURE?
The answer to this question is seen to be so simple.  ““…by living according to your word.”” The Bible answers every question that is very important to us in this life and the life to come. Some people think the Bible is not relevant to us: for David or for Paul it was ideal in its teaching and application, and even for the Lord Jesus (the Old Testament was His Bible), but they think it is not relevant to our day. Such ideas are entirely wrong since it is the only book that speaks with authority about the great needs of time and eternity; it is the only guide to holiness, to a life that is pure, dedicated and pleasing to God. The Psalmist, who was deeply concerned about personal purity, was really saying, ‘‘What is the secret of personal, practical holiness.

psalms 119;9 How can a young man keep his way pure?
By guarding it according to your word.
10 With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not wander from your commandments!
11 I have stored up your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you.
keeping your hearty pure is do do according to the word of God, its not just reading the bible and not doing according to it its all about helping others, fellowship with others as the Christ body in the trinity depicts about togetherness as god the father, son and the holy spirit.
doing according to the word is living upon the promises of God as a young person challenges are all over and they should not let you wonder nor shun away from God but this challenges keep us strong in Jesus name the bible tell us that everything is possible its true, we can overcome this challenges through trusting in God. Be the one to stand with Christ and he will stand by your side

Matthew 14:22-33 IT'S ALL ABOUT FAITH IN GOD

jesus walking on water photo: Jesus Walking on the Water religious_0animation1jesaa.gif

I love the story of Jesus walking on the water because it shows us that everything is possible through christ our lord and savoiur, one disciple in the story known as peter saw jesus walking on top of the water and felt that him also needs to walk like the way jesus did, Peter had a strong faith to beleive that him also can do as christ did. Today lets not focus on the act of walking on the water but think about the faith that peter depicts to us as christians. What kind of water do you fear to walk on it in your life, do it now walk in those rivers of life, those troublesum momments because God is right beside you the way jesus was with peter. it dos not matter how long you take on top of your waters of life what matters is that you did it and with faith all things will be possible in your life.

22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29 “Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
WHAT DO WE MEAN BY BEING READY.
let the light keep you awake for the time is near, let us be inspired by the story i Mathew 25:1-13 Painting by Edmund Leighton - courtesy of

1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of the virgins were foolish, and five were wise. 3 When the foolish ones took their lamps, they did not take extra266 olive oil with them. 4 But the wise ones took flasks of olive oil with their lamps. 5 When the bridegroom was delayed a long time,267 they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is here! Come out to meet him.’ 7 Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ 9 ‘No,’ they replied. ‘There won’t be enough for you and for us. Go instead to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 But while they had gone to buy it, the bridegroom arrived, and those who were ready went inside with him to the wedding banquet. Then the door was shut. 11 Later, the other virgins came too, saying, ‘Lord, lord! Let us in!’ 12 But he replied, ‘I tell you the truth, I do not know you!’ 13 Therefore stay alert, because you do not know the day or the hour” (Matthew 25:1-13). 26
I am moved and encouraged by the story of this virgins, it happens in life sometime we are not ready at all or even sometimes pretend that we are ready yet we have not prepared well. my encouragement for to day is for us as Christians to be ready for everything that God has installed for us, Are you ready for the blessings, are you ready for healing? because its time for the bridegroom to come. i challenge you today go out and carry enough oil.
When the bride groom comes let Him find your lamp lighting with enough oil.

BE ENCOURAGED TO MOVE ON........

Late in the evening I was walking in the park. Suddenly I heard scream coming from behind bushes. I stopped to listen and understood that a woman was attacked.

I heard sounds of fighting and muttering. For several moments I was hesitating, should I get involved?

I panicked. I was frightened for my own safety. Maybe it is better to call the police?

Then I realized that a woman‘s voice becomes weaker, so I knew I have to act quickly. Can I run away from this? Finally I decided that I have to help this unknown woman even if I am risking my own life.

I felt some strange transformation inside, the moral and physical strength, so I ran behind the bushes. I pulled the attacker off the girl. We felt to the ground and grappled for several minutes.

Then the assailant jumped up and ran away. Breathing hard I slowly came up to the girl, who was cowering behind a tree. It was dark, so I could not see her face clearly.

I felt, that she is very frightened, so I talked to her from a distance: „You are safe now, it‘s ok, the man had run away“.

After a few moments I heard her words with a great amazement in her voice: „Dad, is that you?” And then I realized that the girl was my youngest daughter.

THANK GOD FOR YOUR STATUS AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.......

Two men were seriously ill. They occupied the same room in the hospital. One of them was lying in the bed near the only window in their room. Every day he was allowed to spend some time sitting up in his bed to help draining the fluid from lungs.
The other man was forced to spend all his days flat on his back.
They talked a lot about their life, families, jobs, vacations. Every time, when the first man was sitting by the window, he described in details all that he saw outside the window.
His roommate always looked for those moments, when his world was broadened and brightened up by the world outside.
Amazing views of a park with a beautiful lake could be seen from the window of their room. Children delightfully played among ducks and swans.
Couples walked arm in arm among colourful flowers. Also the stunning city skyline could be seen.
When the man by the window had been thoroughly describing all that was happening outside the window, his roommate would close his eyes and imaged all the beautiful scenes of life that were told to him.
One night the man, whose bed was near the window, died peacefully during sleep and his roommate was very sad. After some time, when the nurse came to visit him, he asked if he could be moved next to the window.
The nurse agreed and kindly made the switch. When she left, the man slowly and painfully propped himself up on one elbow and took the first look at the world outside. He was stunned. The window faced a blank wall.
When the nurse came to visit him the next time, he told her about beautiful things outside the window that his roommate described him. The nurse replied that his roommate was a blind man. She said: „Probably he just tried to encourage you.“

                        Giving Your Life To Jesuswww.gmail

In Revelation 3;20, Behold i stand at the door, and knock if any man hears my voice, and open i will come in to him and dine together with him.
Our God is never tired of knocking He is always is alswys at our doorsteep waiting for that one chane to deliver us, what kind of door is God knocking at yopur heart is it the door for salvation? open and He will come in.
Take that step of faith for God is waiting for you He come s closer to those who come nearer to Him , draw Him close to you and He will be right with you.
At His feet we are healed, at his feet we are delivered, don't be lost its a call for salvation for those who are lost because God did not come to save tho who are righteous but to those who are lost and left wondering where is their place to be, just at His feet is the right place to be, get a chance to be forgiven your iniquities and be whole again, be new again and start a fresh once more.
Romans 10:13,it says that whoever calls upon my name shall be saved. its only a step of faith to call upon God and you will be saved.
Isaiah 55:6 seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon Him while Hi is near.we are all chosen for greater purpose, for the greatness of God to be upon us we have to declare that Jesus is Lord in our life, Proclaim His goodness and mercies to everyone because the bible says , no one shall pass to the father except by me.
John 6:37 all that the father gives me shall come to me and i will by no means cast out to you. those who proclaim that Jesus is lord and Saviour of their life. am calling not to miss Gods goodness and the promises that He has installed for you. AMEN
